What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent Makeup is the process in which sterile cosmetic pigments are placed under the dermal layer of the skin using single use individual sterile needles. The areas to be treated are numbed using topical anesthetics to make your experience a pleasant one.

Is it really permanent?

Yes. But it will fade over time by the natural elements, sun exposure, and tanning beds. It is recommended that you get a boost every 2 to 5 years.

What are the recovery/healing time?

Healing time varies from person to person. With proper topical anesthetics and numbing, swelling will be very minimal. The treated area will begin to soften up within 3 to 8 days. A touch up appointment is recommended in 4 weeks, after first procedure, if needed.

How do I choose the right permanent makeup artist?

Choose your technician carefully. Consider their training, experience, and referrals. Also, look at before and after pictures. Always go for a consultation to be sure you are comfortable with your technician.
